FAQ's

Our main office is accessible using the public transportation system. Dart Bus routes 5 & 62 stop outside of the Abby Medical Building in Newark, Delaware.

Any after-hours questions or concerns can be left with the answering service who will then notify the physician who is on-call that evening. If able, the on-call physician will be in contact with you that night. If the physician is not able, our office will be notified of your call the first thing the following morning for follow up. Often times, our staff will contact you to ensure that your questions or concerns were addressed appropriately.

If you are scheduled for surgery, or will be scheduled for surgery in the near future, you will be receiving instructions from our office for before and after your procedure. Our surgery scheduler, and the hospital, will also be in contact with you before your surgery to discuss any questions or concerns you may have. If for some reason you are not contacted with instructions, please call our office.

You are able to take your medications that day of your vascular testing.

If you are having a test that requires fasting after midnight the day prior, please take your medications with only a small sip of water.

Our office participates with most insurance plans, including, but not limited to: Aetna, Amerihealth, Amerihealth Caritas, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, Cigna Healthspring, Coventry, Health Options, Humana, Humana Military, Independence Blue Cross, Medicaid, Medicare, Railroad Medicare, Tricare, United Healthcare. Call us at 302-543-8100 for the most up to date list of accepted insurances.

Please bring the forms you received via mail; a list of your medications; photo identification; insurance card(s); your prescription for vascular lab testing (if outside referral), and any relevant test results and/or referring physician records.

You should receive a packet of forms via mail that need to be filled out prior to your visit. Please complete these forms and bring them with you to your appointment. If you do not receive any forms, please arrive 15 minutes early so that there is enough time to complete the required paperwork before seeing the physician.
